Kueen Lai International Secondary School (KLISS) is a secondary only international school located strategically in Bangi. Our vision and aims are at the centre of everything we do. We adopt the Cambridge Assessment International Education because we believe education works best when curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment are closely aligned. This belief inspires the design of each aspect of our School’s programmes.

As a parent who had put all my children through international schools in Malaysia, I have first-hand experience of the many trials and tribulations plus joy and pride of having children go through the IGCSE education system in Malaysia.

It is my personal desire to not only contribute to the development of academic achievement in the younger Malaysian generation but also my heartfelt wish to develop the emotional wellbeing of these children. I believe by providing a well-structured and holistic international education that is geared towards developing both the much needed acquisition of Mathematics & Science in helping our country move towards her goals to become a developed nation, plus the building of compassion and resilience in our young people’s hearts and minds, the above humble vision of mine can be achieved, in line with our nation’s wider aspirations.

It is my most humble wish that with the investment into developing this area, both in the form of capital and human resources, I will be allowed a minor role to continue to contribute to my beloved nation.

I take this opportunity to openly welcome you into our school, where your possibilities are endless and your goals more than achievable.

We intend to create an unmatched environment of study here, but equally one that affords students the room required to grow according to their own pace. We also recognise that the mind can only flourish if it is active, and to this end, we emphasise a holistic approach which includes the arts and sports, as well as interesting co-curricular activities.

It is our desire to imbibe and inculcate core values in our students. Charity is an essential attribute that we wish to see in each one of them, and thus we endeavour to indulge them in programmes that will foster such awareness. Integrity will be stressed upon throughout their period of study, for knowledge can only be maximised if we use it correctly. Tenacity will keep them focused on their dreams. They will be taught to be as tough as nails so that they are able to endure the challenges they face once out in the real world.
